Make light work for you

Modern cameras simplify exposure control.Their automatic systems of measuring and regulating the light that enters the camera do most of the work for you.But the camera will not always get it right, because no amount of technological wizardry or computerized circuitry can produce just the picture you want in every situation.A good camera metering system aims to provide an exposure that is technically correct-one that offers a compromise between the amount of light needed for dark and light areas of the scene.Usually, the result will look fine.Sometimes, however, a particular part of a scene is more important to you than the rest.the camera cannot deduce this, and in settling for an average exposure it may over-or underexpose the key area of your composition. That is where your creative choice comes in.
